| Tango Spring Series Julio & Luiza |
Luiza and Julio have been dancing tango for more than ten years. they have been working together as a dance couple since August 2010. They have taught together all over the United States including Portland Tango Festival. In Buenos Aires they also teach together at Julio's milonga " El Gardel de Medellin" and have performed in several milongas and events. Luiza's background in music and Julio's background in acting gives them a powerful presence in their performances. Their teaching styles complement each other and they cover fundamentals as well as more advanced material thoroughly in an esy, progressive and very approachable way. They promote the " Estilo Parque Patricios" which, more than an actual dancing style, is a view of tango that looks into the future in the evolution of the dance and at the same time respects and preserves the essence of it.
